Aleppo

“Aleppo” is the first sauce by Old City Hot Sauce. The core ingredients are pomegranate, garlic, and of course, Aleppo peppers. The sauce comes in two variants: Aioli (left) and Barbecue (right).

The city of Aleppo is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Aleppine cuisine is characterized by a prominence of fruit and yogurt glazes to accompany barbecued meats and vegetables.

Aleppo sauce sold out in 2 hours its first appearance at the Blagden Market in Washington DC! Profits will go towards FoodBlessed, a non-profit organization catering to refugees.
